Our History

We are a small family-owned business. The Pottery Place has been in business for 20 years, starting out as a Color Me Mine Franchise. The previous owner bought out of the franchise and went independent as The Pottery Place. The Phillips family took ownership in 2013.

Meet Our Team

Tina Phillips runs the business side and at one time or another all 8 of her children have or are still working in the studio. Tairyn Phillips, Tinas oldest is the Studio Manager. Kayla Chrostowski, Cristinas Phillips partner is the Assistant manager/Glazer. Gabrielle Waterhouse, Jesse Phillips, and Becca Phillips are studio associates along with some very valued part-time workers.  Cristina Phillips helps out with our special events. Anthony Phillips at one time helped out with web design and Luke Phillips has worked on the financial end of the business.
This truly is a family run business. We love that we can create an atmosphere where friends and families can come and create lifelong memories.

Our Mission

My greatest joy in owning The Pottery Place, is that it offers people of all ages and artistic abilities, the opportunity to be creative. I BELIEVE that everyone has that ability, even though they may not believe it. We give our customers the tools, the knowledge and the permission to create in a safe environment and watch amazing things happen everyday. It’s wonderful! Leave your worries outside our door and come and play with us awhile. Our studio is for all ages, children and adults alike. We all need to tap those creative juices once in a while and The Pottery Place is the creative place to be!

We Ship

Can’t stick around until your creation is done cooking?

We can ship your piece once it is out of the Kiln. For a small handeling fee and whatever the shipping charge is, we will get your creations to you safetly.

Gift Certificates Available

Need a gift and just dont know what they want? We offer Gift Certificates in any denomination with no expiration date. Call or stop in and we will take good care of you.
